Mission:

Our mission is to promote international understanding and co-operation amongst medical students and all health professionals through international exchange of students.

Activities:

Through SCOPE & SCORE, the standing committee on professional exchange and the standing committee on research exchange, the participating student is incorporated into a unique educational and cultural experience, in addition, to the regular medical curriculum. This experience broadens the student’s understanding of medical and social conditions in different countries.

The Professional Exchange is defined and regulated in the Standing Orders of SCOPE. A professional exchange is an exchange of a medical student who undergoes a medical practice in a hospital abroad. This practice, known as a clerkship, is purely educational for the student and he/she will not receive a salary for it.
