IFMSA-Egypt SCORA is proud to present to you the Days of your Life.

Egypt & its 7000 years old Civilization is considered one of the greatest and most marvellous places in the world. It lies in the centre of the world and is considered the gateway to Africa, Asia, and Europe. Thus, it incubates a large number of reproductive health issues.

The 2nd to the 20th August, 2009 IFMSA-Egypt is hosting its first SCORA Exchange program. Our team will take the responsibility of using the ethnic variability as a merit to enrich the exchange program. The program will take place in 3 beautiful cities: Cairo - the capital city-, Alexandria- the mermaid of the Mediterranean- and Assiut – the Southern beauty-.

This nice mixture of cultures, lifestyles, and traditions will be able to give the participants in our program a great scope on the reproductive health in Egypt.

The main aim of the program is allowing medical students from the four corners of the globe exchange information and share their experiences regarding different reproductive health issues. The program will tackle the important methodologies used by IFMSA-Egypt when dealing with HIV/AIDS, Reproductive Neoplasm, Gender Equity, and Access to IRVs, Female Genital Mutilation and other interesting topics.

The participants will enjoy an interactive environment where they can share actively in the learning process. They will be visiting different hospitals clinics and NGOs. The training will offer both theoretical and clinical knowledge, as well as trainings in research methodologies and peer education.
